D2 is a high-carbon tool steel with high chromium, known for wear resistance. Made by particle metallurgy, the carbides come out finer and more evenly spread, which means less chipping and a more consistent edge.

Care: D2 is not fully stainless. Wipe dry and oil, especially after wet work.
