Every one of these blades is Damascus, which means the steel is layered and forged together rather than poured in one piece. That is what puts the water-like figure on the surface — and it is why no two knives in this run carry exactly the same pattern. You are not buying a stamped blade with a printed finish.
The scales are cut from hardwood and shaped to sit full in the palm, then finished smooth so the knife stays comfortable through a long session rather than just opening a box.

Looking after a Damascus blade
Wipe the blade dry after use and keep a light film of oil on it. Pattern-welded steel rewards a little attention — do that and the pattern stays crisp instead of dulling into a grey smear.
