Description
A Damascus blade in a hardwood handle.
The blade is pattern-welded, which means the surface figure you see is the steel itself rather than an applied finish. Each piece comes out with its own flow, so no two knives in this run look identical.
The handle is solid hardwood, shaped and finished by hand. It sits warm in the palm, does not go slick the way polished metal does, and picks up character as it is used.
A folding pocket knife sized to disappear into a pocket and come out when it is needed: cord and rope, packaging, whittling, food prep at camp.
Care: wipe the blade dry after use and keep a light film of oil on pattern-welded steel.
Want to know what pattern-welded Damascus actually is, how the pattern is made, and how to keep it from rusting? Our guide to Damascus steel covers all of it.
