Description
G10 and D2: a combination that does not need looking after.
G10 is a glass-fibre laminate under pressure. It does not absorb water, does not swell, and does not care much about temperature. That is why it turns up on working knives and not on display pieces.
Paired with a D2 blade, high-carbon and high-chromium, you get a folder that holds an edge and a handle that will outlast the blade.
Sized for a pocket, made for camping and hunting work.
Care: the handle needs nothing. The blade wants a dry wipe and a light oil.
Curious how D2 steel compares with S30V and M390 on edge holding, rust resistance and sharpening effort? Our comparison of D2, S30V and M390 explains the trade-offs in plain terms.
